The climate crisis is a public health crisis, impacting upon our health and wellbeing in a huge number of ways. Our accredited Level 2 qualification will help you to support individuals and communities to take actions that can improve their impact upon on the climate.

What is Climate-related Behaviour Change?
All of our day-to-day activities – from how we get to work to how much energy we use at home – have an impact on the climate. The majority of behaviours that are positive for the climate, also have a beneficial impact on our health and wellbeing; for example, choosing to walk to work instead of driving.
This accredited qualification, designed in partnership with Westminster City Council, is designed to help you to develop an understanding of the relationship between the climate emergency and health and to work with individuals and communities to promote opportunities for them to improve their impact on the climate.
This qualification is regulated by Ofqual.
Who is this qualification for?
The Level 2 Award in Supporting Climate-related Behaviour Change will be valuable for to anyone working in health, or involved in climate action or community development, who is looking to support individuals, groups and communities to improve their impact on health and wellbeing.

This qualification will help you to develop behaviour change techniques that you can use when working with individuals and groups in relation to climate change.

The climate emergency has a huge and growing impact on health and wellbeing. This qualification will help you to understand how these two issues overlap.

This qualification will help you to understand how you can embed climate-related behaviour change into community projects.

How long does it take to complete?
The qualification takes a total of 7 hours to complete, followed by a 45-minute multiple-choice examination or a workbook assessment.
