What is Level 3 Asbestos Removal for Construction?
The removal of asbestos from a non-domestic setting is a complex process and requires input from a number of trained professionals including supervisors, who require specific qualifications to confirm their knowledge, skills and competencies to supervise the removal safely and effectively.
This industry-recognised qualification covers the practical skills and underpinning knowledge required by a supervisor in order to oversee the safe removal of licensed asbestos from a workplace. You will be able to supervise the setting up and removal of enclosures, removal and safe disposal of licensed asbestos and co-ordinate and organise all of the activities on site required for licensed asbestos removal.
This qualification is regulated by Ofqual/CCEA and Qualification Wales.

How long does it take to complete?
The qualification takes a total of 1110 hours to complete, including 525 hours of guided learning time, of observations, questioning, portfolio of evidence.
