Health coaching involves providing tailored support to individuals to help them to make improvements to their health and wellbeing. Our accredited Level 3 qualification will help you to build the skills and knowledge needed to carry out the role of a health coach, supporting the health of individuals, groups and communities.

What is health coaching?
Health coaching is a supported self-management intervention, which is focused on supporting people to make more informed and conscious choices about their own health. This works by supporting someone to identify changes they would like to make and helping them to develop strategies to make this change happen.
This accredited qualification is designed to help you to understand the key principles and concepts of health coaching, and to develop the core skills and knowledge required to carry out the role of a health coach.
This qualification is regulated by Ofqual.

The Level 3 Certificate in Health Coaching is valuable for anyone in or looking for employment as a health coach, as well as anyone in a personalised care role who would like to further develop their skills and knowledge in relation to health improvement.

How long does it take to complete?
The qualification takes a total of 130 hours to complete, including 40 hours of guided learning, and the completion of a portfolio of evidence.
