What are health inequalities?
Health inequalities are defined as avoidable differences in health outcomes between groups or populations – such as differences in how long we live, or the age at which we get preventable diseases or health conditions.
This accredited qualification is designed to help you to understand the impact of health inequalities and the social determinants of health, as well as to identify the policies and strategies that are place to manage them within your local community.
This qualification is regulated by Ofqual.

How long does it take to complete?
The qualification takes a total of 60 hours to complete, including 20 hours of guided learning, and the completion of a portfolio of evidence.
