This includes being able to set up and remove enclosures, remove asbestos, package and dispose of the asbestos and perform cleaning and decontamination requirements.
This qualification is regulated by Ofqual/CCEA and Qualification Wales, and is on The Education and Skills Funding Agency list of qualifications approved for funding.

The qualification takes a total of 390 hours to complete, including 199 hours of guided learning time, of observations, questioning, portfolio of evidence.
