Looking after our mental wellbeing is vitally important in being able to cope with life’s challenges and maintain a positive sense of self. Our accredited Level 2 qualification will help you to build the knowledge needed to support others to protect and improve their mental wellbeing.

What is mental wellbeing?

Mental wellbeing refers to our ability to cope with the stresses of life, realise our abilities, learn well and work well. Positive mental wellbeing can help us navigate life in a number of ways, from building healthy relationships to having a sense of purpose. This accredited qualification is designed to help you have effective conversations with others around improving their mental wellbeing, including signposting them to available help and support. This qualification is regulated by Ofqual and CCEA.

Who is this qualification for? 

The Level 2 Award in Understanding Mental Wellbeing is valuable for anyone in or looking for employment – particularly for roles which involve supporting individuals in relation to their mental health - or if you’re looking to improve your own health and wellbeing.

How long does it take to complete?

The qualification takes a total of eight hours to complete, including seven hours of guided learning, followed by a multiple-choice exam.
