Gambling-related harms can increase the risk of a number of serious threats to health and wellbeing, from substance misuse to suicide. Our accredited Level 2 qualification will help you to build the knowledge needed to support others in relation to gambling-related harms, including signposting to specialist help and support.

What is Gambling-related Harm?

Gambling-related harm refers to the adverse impacts from gambling on the health and wellbeing of individuals, families, communities and society.

This accredited qualification is designed to help you understand the risk factors of gambling-related harm, and to have effective conversations with others around safer gambling and accessing specialist help and support where needed.

This qualification is regulated by Ofqual.

The Level 2 Award in Tackling Gambling-related Harm is valuable for anyone in or looking for employment – particularly for roles which involve supporting individuals in relation to gambling-related harm or their wider health and wellbeing - or if you’re looking to improve your own health and wellbeing.

How long does it take to complete? 

The qualification takes a total of six hours to complete, including five hours of guided learning, followed by a multiple-choice exam assessment.
