What is Level 2 Improving the Public's Health?

Public health is about helping people to stay healthy and protecting them from threats to their health. This accredited qualification is designed to help you to build you understanding of physical and mental health and wellbeing, to develop a working relationship with your colleagues, customers or service users, and explore a health and wellbeing issue that is relevant to your community.

This qualification is regulated by Ofqual.

The Level 2 Award in Improving the Public’s Health is valuable for anyone in or looking for employment – whether you have started a new role with a new employer, you’re preparing for work experience - or if you’re looking to improve your own health and wellbeing.

How long does it take to complete? 

The qualification takes a total of 7 hours to complete, followed by a 45-minute multiple-choice examination or a workbook assessment.
