Vaccination programmes play a vital role in protecting our health from diseases. Our accredited Level 2 qualification will help you to build the knowledge needed to support others to understand the value of immunisation and to consider whether to receive different vaccinations.

What is Level 2 Encouraging Vaccination Uptake?
Vaccination programmes protect our health and wellbeing by strengthening our immune response to a number of different threats. All immunisation programmes in the UK are voluntary and the decision for whether to receive a vaccination rests with the individual.
This accredited qualification is designed to help you have effective conversations with others around vaccination uptake, including signposting them to further help and support to help them to make a decision.
This qualification is regulated by Ofqual.

The Level 2 Award in Encouraging Vaccination Uptake is valuable for anyone in or looking for employment – particularly for roles which involve supporting people with vaccinations and other health choices – or if you’re looking to improve your own health and wellbeing.

How long does it take to complete?
The qualification takes a total of eight hours to complete, including seven hours of guided learning, followed by a workbook assessment.
